Meet David Arbelaez – Technical Consultant, MacDonald Industries

David Arbelaez is an architect with over 20 years of experience in the construction and building industry. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with architects, consultants, contractors, and project teams, helping to develop practical and compliant solutions while building strong professional relationships. He is passionate about combining technical expertise with customer-focused support to deliver the best possible outcomes.

Outside of work, David enjoys spending time outdoors and exploring New Zealand’s incredible landscapes. Whether it’s hiking scenic trails or mountain biking in search of breathtaking views, he loves making the most of what New Zealand has to offer.

Last week, our team was proud to attend the NZ Plumbing Conference, celebrating 125 years of Master Plumbers. Representing MacDonald Industries were Chris Ford, Campbell John Roberts, and Martin Hamill.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand. It was great catching up with familiar faces, meeting new people from across the industry, and having some fantastic conversations about the challenges and opportunities facing the plumbing sector.
