One of the highlights of our work is spending time in schools, teaching kids about compost, soil health, and the hidden life beneath our feet. ๐ฑ
When children see how food scraps can become rich soil that can grow nutrient rich food, something clicks. What was before seen as a waste, suddenly becomes a resource.
Food resilience starts with understanding the soil.
And a healthy soil starts with understanding compost.
If we want a food-resilient future, we need to teach the children well, because they are the ones who will grow it. ๐
