What a view!

Currently, our team is in Oneroa, working on a two-bedroom extension for a hilltop home overlooking the bay, featuring a glass walkway to connect it to the main home.

With the RAB board installed, we've shifted our focus to the interiors, working on the plywood lining and GIB in preparation for the Oak throughout the extension.

Everything is starting to take shape, and we're excited to see it all come together.

Today we had the pleasure of handing Oliver Wilson his carpentry certificate as he completes his building apprenticeship with us here at JRB Construction ltd.
What an absolute pleasure it’s been watching Ollie grow from the best dancer on the island to a qualified builder 😆

This Church Bay Road home underwent a full renovation, including an interior strip-out, rebuild, and extensive hard landscaping. Inside, curved Acupanel-clad walls conceal hidden doors leading to powder rooms, adding a sense of intrigue.

Outside, the pool takes centre stage, complemented by Japanese rainscreen cladding and expansive decking that wraps around the home.

Queens Drive, Waiheke Island.

Originally completed by our team in 2015, this new-build home underwent further upgrades a few years later when the owners approached us to enhance their outdoor pool. Working alongside Cheshire Architects, we reimagined the space to create a modern yet functional pool area.

A standout feature of this project was the automated roller cover discreetly tucked beneath a seat. With the press of a remote, it extends when needed, keeping the pool secure and clean. Stainless steel tracks running the length of the pool allowed it to double as a spa cover and a sturdy platform—ideal for sitting or diving from.

Belle Terrace, Waiheke Island.

This stunning 200sqm cliffside new build, constructed in collaboration with Lighthouse Architects, takes full advantage of its elevated position and expansive bay views. Built on a steep site, the home steps up the hill with multiple floor levels, supported by extensive foundations and barrier pile walls.

We loved being part of this project and fostering a close relationship with our clients to create a home that perfectly reflects their vision.
