We recently acknowledged John Lawton, our longstanding executive Member who has stepped down from the executive team,
John has played a crucial role during his tenure on the executive, notably representing the commercial sector of our membership and serving as our branch's representative on the Vertical Leaders Group. This group comprises construction leaders aiming to advocate for improved contract conditions within the New Zealand construction industry.
John has exhibited exceptional leadership and governance, ensuring diligent oversight not only of the quality of our members' tangible work but also of their standards of professionalism and communication with clients.

Great fun last Sunday for our End of Year 2023 function at the Auckland Bowling Club. Gorgeous historic venue and a fabulous sunny day set the scene for our last staff and family get-together of the year. Wonderful attendance by all including two newbies - Toddlers, Ada and Alice - more Lawton's in the house. In order to protect the innocent - we have included only these two pics - one of the Auckland Bowling Club and a representation of the stunning award for Best Bowling Team won this year by Junior, Noel and Siaki - who got to select from the winners table and have bragging rights until the next event.
