Considering purchasing an Ag Drone as a contractor or for your own use?
New, or pre owned ??

THESE ARE THE RULES https://www.aviation.govt.nz/drones/technical-information/agrichemicals-and-vta/

We are constantly hearing of spray drones (both used and new) being sold to operators who think the rules don't apply to them, THEY DO!!! regardless of where you plan to operate.

There are many different Ag Drone sales people in NZ, some have industry knowledge, some have experience, and unfortunately, some are purely clipping the ticket and bending the rules.

At AgSmart UAV, we have a ton of experience!
We offer full comprehensive training with any new DJI Agriculture product purchased and free first 12 monthly maintenance check included (labour only)
Talk with us, we are committed to the industry!
AgSmart UAV & DJI Agriculture, doing it by the book since 2019

Over the past 18 months, we’ve seen significant and consistent growth in the operational side of our company, on top of growth in our dedicated operations company AgDrone. This year we are making a move to streamline our services and build room for future growth and sustainability. The operations team from DronezUp are now working entirely under the AgDrone banner, in a move to offer a streamlined and dedicated service to our clients. Aside from the branding, every aspect of our operation remains as it was under DronezUp. Same people, same aircraft, same methodology and same customer service. This move allows DronezUp to focus on the expanding training, compliance aircraft sales and service portion of our company and allows us to grow those facets of our business further.

Take a minute to head over to the AgDrone social media sites, and follow, to keep up with everything operationally in unmanned aircraft. Keep an eye on the DronezUp social media and website for updates as our training & compliance, sales & service offerings further unveil.

To contact the team at AgDrone to discuss your aerial agricultural requirements and arrange a site visit email [email protected] or give Jacob a call on 021 310 338.

Any new enquiries that come through to DronezUp will be passed over to the AgDrone team to arrange.

If you’re a current customer, and you have any questions about how this may affect you, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

DJI T100/FC100 blades are a big departure from previous DJI aircraft blades, rather than being a carbon reinforced thermoplastic they are now foam cored molded carbon.

They won't turn into noodles or crack like previous aircraft, but they will now have very little tolerance for damage.

Make sure you pay attention during preflights!

Whilst the white T50 blades are absolute trash and crack badly due to toluene in the paint DJI used, DJI painted them for a reason.... the black ones melt and deform in the sun.

Its a thermoplastic resin used in them and its hot out there in NZs summer (until it starts raining again!)

If you are running a T40 (or T50 with T40 blades due to cracking), pay attention during preflights for deformed blades and do what you can to keep them cool and out of the sun, or your aircraft won't be staying in the air.
