🎬 It’s a Wrap for 2025 🎬

As 2025 comes to a close, we want to take a moment to sincerely thank our customers, staff, and suppliers for your continued support throughout the year.

There’s no doubt this year has been harder than most, but it’s during challenging times that strong relationships, teamwork, and resilience really show. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has stood alongside us, worked through the pressure, and kept things moving.

We’re heading into the New Year feeling positive and hopeful, and we’re looking forward to a better, brighter year ahead in 2026.

We popped in to say “Yellow” 😃 to the Ockham Residental team for the official opening of Kōanga in Waterview on Friday. Mayor Wayne Brown did the honour of declaring the building open. This slice of sunshine is a BTR (Build to Rent project).

💛 The yellow coloured bricks - perfect to add a little sunshine in a dreary grey winters day.

Throwback to Saturday, 9th November 2013.
Marsden Point Oil Refinery

A rather large concrete pour - estimated to be one of NZ’s largest concrete pour’s of the time. A good job to cut our teeth on as a new company formed that very same year. Lots of lessons, learnings and lack of sleep!

What requires 2746 cubic metres of concrete, 16 hours, and a continuous fleet of 60 trucks to complete? The personnel at NZ Refining, which operates the Marsden Pt Oil Refinery, have the answer - the base for the refinery's $365 million Continuous Catalyst Regeneration Platformer project. The $365-million CCR project will enhance the refinery's capabilities to meet 80 per cent of New Zealand's fuel needs, providing a more reliable fuel source. The construction work will also generate approximately 300 on-site jobs and hundreds more off-site over the next four years. On Saturday, a convoy of 60 concrete trucks transported 550 separate loads over 16 hours to pour 2746 cubic metres of concrete into a 1.5 to 2-metre deep hole for the base.
