Had an incredible day visiting the Harvey Norman New Zealand showroom and exploring some amazing commercial designs from talented brands, including New Zealand's Fisher & Paykel.

I left feeling inspired, full of ideas, and just a little jealous that I couldn’t take all the appliances home with me! 😆

Returning from Canada got me thinking about how much climate dictates design around the world. 🍁🥝

In Canada, homes are raised high to cope with six or seven months of heavy snow.

In New Zealand, it's all about level entry and indoor-outdoor flow so we can soak up the outside almost all year long.

It was an awesome trip, but it’s always a good reminder of how lucky we are in NZ, and why I love building homes here!
