Congratulations to PowerNet 👏 Your team was incredible during that wind event period, as they are always 🌟

Last night the PowerNet team was proud to take out Energy Distributor of the Year at the 2026 New Zealand Energy Excellence Awards in Wellington. The award focused on our work during and after the October 2025 wind event. This was great recognition of the incredible work our whole team contributed to restoring power after the wind devastated our network. It was also another opportunity to acknowledge the fantastic support from our communities, who were gracious during a difficult time and provided support in so many ways. Thank you all. 🏆
