We started with a question- how can we build quality,energy efficient houses with good design elements which don't cost the earth. After much research, thinking, designing and planning, we came up with Manaia Smart Build - an idea to use design and technology to achieve our objectives. We decided we needed to build a house to try out our ideas. Construction began in mid-August 2015 and we would like to share the journey with you- see where it takes us!
