Subsurface Civil & Drilling Ltd Subsurface Drilling Ltd are a civil construction company who specialize in trenchless service install, aswell as traditional open cut methods

Sub Surface Drilling Limited are a civil construction company who specialize in several different methods of trenchless service installation including Directional Drilling, Pipe Ramming, Pipe Cracking and Thrust Boring. We also undertake conventional Open Cut Trenching and all the associated works around what we do such as Ground Penetrating Radar & Electronic Cable Location, Air/Hydro Excavation,

PE pipe welding (Electro & Butt Fusion), Manhole Installation, Cable Hauling and the likes. There isn’t much we don’t do in regards to trenchless service installation, we also run an ISO 9001 accredited quality management system and have ACC Secondary status to ensure we are delivering a quality service, safely to all of our clients.

Currently we are on the hunt for

- Hydro truck operator/driver
- Class 2 truck drivers
- Labourers
- Operators

We are family owned and operated company based just north of Christchurch specialising in a wide range of underground infrastructure installation

Applicants must ideally have the following as a minimum

- Full class 1 drivers licence (Role dependant Class 2-5, WTR required as well preference given to applicants with the above)
- Drug free
- Industry experience preferred but for the right candidate who is keen to learn we are keen to teach you

Due to our current work load we looking for experienced directional drillers with the following attributes:

Key responsibilities for this role would include but not limited to:
Minimum 5 years’ experience with HHD operation/ locating
Hold a minimum HDD Certificate in Horizontal Directional Drilling (Level 3)
Ability to undertake and perform minor maintenance works on HDD plant
Undertake truck driving & digger operations when required
Carry out site supervision
Follow company H & S quality procedures
Participate in daily pre starts/ toolbox meetings
Assist crews with labouring duties when & where required

Essential:
Site wise or Construct safe
Licences: Class 1, 2, 4 W,T,R
Hold a current first aid
STMS L1 (an advantage but not essential)

Our workplace is a drug free/alcohol free and pre employment drug testing will be required.
