** Process of Elimination **
When going to a property, often you can see services using the Mala pram but the unit doesn't know exactly what it is. Lewis marks all services in white and will then further investigate to identify which service is which by back tracing to fixtures. ie to a Toby box for the water or an outlet for the stormwater etc. As you can see below he has identified that one of his markings turned out to be water therefore he went over it with blue and the other down the driveway is the sewer which he marked in red. There are some other wee tricks too but we will save those for another day. 🙂

Fairly self explanatory on this job. Ready for planned excavation. Seems a shame to dig up that nice lawn 😳😊

Water services investigation completed at the Canterbury Museum the other day. Often with these large multi-building businesses there are more than one water service feeding different parts of the premises.
In this case we had several gate valves in a single Toby box. As you can see Lewis has colored the appropriate valve so that the contractors onsite are able to identify which building they are isolating in order to complete the required maintenance. Nice one Lewis!

Retaining Canterbury Ltd
engaged us to scan the area where they were to install large pins which were the main support for a residential bridge they were about to install.
As you can see here Lewis identified that there was a service right through the centre. This enabled them to see that where they were placing the large pins was clear. The pins in the image were placed after Lewis had finished his scan, they were then going to be drilled down into the ground creating solid support for the timber to then go on. First bridge job for us, always interesting to see other professionals at work and we enjoy the diverse range of experience and are learning all the time.
Thank you for the business Chris!
