Rebuilding bay window on older villa
Definitely enjoyed the challenge on this job. Pulling apart and rebuilding this front bay window. The new timber framed double glazed window unit was already on site. So it was up to us to rebuild the timber subfloor and wall below, making sure all the measurements and angles were correct so the ready made window would fit straight in. Once this was achieved it was onto framing up the flat roof. Once again more tricky angles and slopes to consider, as achieving the original look was the target in mind. I think we achieved a great result in the end, keeping an almost identical appearance but with all new materials doing the job now.
