✅ Experience required
✅ Minimum Class 1 licence (Class 2 a bonus)
✅ 4-day work week — Monday to Thursday, 7:30am–5:30pm
✅ Drug test may be required on commencement

Good crew, steady work, and long weekends every week.

What a year 2025 has been. Another round of highs and lows in the construction world, but one thing hasn’t changed — our team shows up, works hard, and has each other’s backs.

This year’s work do was a night away in Hanmer Springs with the lads (and Lesha). We missed Shaye who couldn’t make it, but there were plenty of laughs and it was well deserved.

We’re now officially fully booked for the rest of the year. Our last day on the tools will be Thursday 18 December, and we’ll be back on Monday 19 January.

Thanks to everyone we’ve worked with this year. We’re looking forward to another big one in 2026. For now, we hope you all get a proper break, eat and drink a bit too much, and make the most of time with your family.

🏗️ Sudima Hotel, Kaikōura
92 tonnes of Layher scaffolding, up to 12m high and 250m around the façade — fully wrapped so work could power on through winter.

Tough coastal site? No problem. Our crew delivered a safe, tidy scaffold that kept the project moving. Proud to see Elliott Scaffolding standing behind another landmark build.

Precision, performance, and 92 tonnes of Layher Allround Lightweight scaffolding - delivered by Elliott Scaffolding.

Tough coastal conditions, a remote site, and a two-year timeline didn’t slow them down. Using Layher’s modular system, they built up to 12m high and 250m around the façade, fully encapsulating the hotel for uninterrupted winter work.

We have positions for Ticketed scaffolders, scaffolders or labourers to join our team.

The roles:

Ticketed Scaffolder/Scaffolder

• Current NZ Scaffold Ticket or industry experience
• Reliable and physically fit with no pre-existing injuries
• Minimum class 1 licence, class 2 licence preferable
• Great work ethic and attitude
• Willing to learn and also mentor others
• Commitment to excellence in Health and Safety
• Band 1 hourly pay from $26.69 - $30 PH depending on experience
• Band 2 hourly pay from $31 - $40 PH depending on experience
• Hours 7.30am – 5.30pm Monday - Thursday

Scaffold Labourer

• Reliable and physically fit with no pre-existing injuries
• Class 1 licence preferable
• Great work ethic and attitude
• Willing to learn and upskill
• Commitment to excellence in Health and Safety
• Band 1 hourly rate from $23 - $26 PH depending on experience
• Band 2 hourly rate from $26.69 - $30 PH depending on experience
• Hours 7.30am – 5.30pm Monday - Thursday
