Established in 2000, Elliott Scaffolding is owned and managed by Trevor Elliott. Trevor has over forty years of experience and expertise in scaffolding and propping. Having started out as an apprentice scaffolder with the Ministry of Works in Twizel in 1980, Trevor subsequently moved offshore and worked in Europe and South East Asia for 9 years. Initially working on interesting projects such as th
e Ma Wan Viaduct in Hong Kong, which was the world’s largest falsework propping project to be undertaken at that time. It was always Trevor’s ambition to set up his own scaffolding company and upon returning to NZ, he set up Elliott Scaffolding over 20 years ago. Trevor has built a company with a solid reputation for its professionalism and dedication to the industry, with many satisfied clients and repeat business. We are proud to say that many of our clients have been with us since the start which is testament to that. In Canterbury we have worked on scaffold projects such as Canterbury University Regional Science and Innovation building, propping for the demolition of the Grand Chancellor, Telecom building, construction of the Grand Central building, construction of Jade Stadium, many works for the CDHB, and many other commercial and residential projects. At Elliott Scaffolding we employ a large team of qualified scaffolders and use one of the best scaffold systems in world, Layher Allround, as well as tube and clip which is suitable for all situations. Trevor Elliott is a past Executive and Founding Director of SARNZ.
