After-hours response. Fast fault-finding. Minimal downtime.

When a crane operator was unable to get the crab unit to cross travel, the CJ Phoenix team responded to an after-hours callout to diagnose the issue.

Testing confirmed that power was reaching the variable speed drive (VSD) controlling the cross-travel motor, but the drive’s onboard power supply had failed—an increasingly common issue in ageing units.

Our team was carrying a compatible spare VSD, allowing us to replace the failed unit and get the crane operational again with minimal disruption to the business.

It’s a good example of how experienced diagnostics, preparation and responsive breakdown support can make all the difference when critical equipment goes down.

Nearing the finish line on a major retirement living project.

After months on site, our Contracting team is into the final push on one of our latest retirement living projects.

The team is working hard to complete the final stages ahead of handover to the client, ready for furniture to start moving in and the building to transition into daily operations.

Large projects like this take planning, coordination and teamwork from start to finish, and it’s great to see everything coming together.
