Curiosity and construction sites don’t mix.

Construction sites are constantly changing, with moving machinery, overhead work and other hazards that aren’t always obvious at first glance. Clear No Entry signage helps prevent unauthorised access, keeping the public safe and restricted areas reserved for trained personnel.

This No Entry – Authorised Personnel Only sign is one of many construction and workplace safety signs available to order online.

At least the mesh banner looks good! πŸ˜‚

Three very different levels of enthusiasm from our team while showing off a new event banner for Bayleys.

Made for a woodchopping event, this printed mesh banner is ready for action πŸͺ“

What's the most satisfying part of making 2,000 stickers? πŸ‘€

Peeling away all that excess vinyl, of course!

Our team has been busy preparing an order of 2,000 stickers for Kiwi Gas, and there's something strangely satisfying about watching all that unwanted vinyl come away in one big sheet.

Even better with the sound on! πŸ”Š

Corflute is made up of hollow channels, known as flutes, that run through the material in one direction. Their orientation affects how the sign bends, flexes and holds its shape.

This is particularly important for outdoor signage, where wind and other forces can put stress on the panel. The direction of the flutes can influence how much the sign flexes under pressure.

We generally run our flutes horizontally, but certain applications require a different approach. For example, temporary signs mounted on wire stakes need vertical flutes so the stakes can slide directly into the channels.

It's a small detail, but one worth considering when deciding how your sign will be displayed!

Just a wee peek around the workshop today πŸ‘€

A handful of online orders and custom signage jobs making their way through production, with plenty more happening behind the scenes!

Time to remove those old vehicle graphics?

With the right tools, a little heat and some patience, removing vinyl graphics can be surprisingly straightforward.

In this Made Simple video, we show you how to tackle the process step by step.

This method works for many common cut and digitally printed vinyl graphics, although older graphics, specialist films and different adhesives may require a different approach.

For larger or more complicated removals, sometimes it's best to leave it to the professionals.

Proud of your lawn? Protect it.

Spring is the perfect time to repair bare patches, sow new grass seed and bring tired lawns back to life. A simple "Please Keep Off the Grass" sign helps give fresh grass the best chance to establish by encouraging people to stick to the paths.

This Keep Off the Grass sign is one of many park, property and grounds maintenance signs available to order online.

We used to cut these by hand! 😱

Back in the day, before we had our router, thick reflective films like this couldn't go through our regular vinyl cutter, so we had to cut the shapes by hand.

A time-consuming process!

Safe to say, we're pretty happy to have a router these days πŸ™Œ

A little care during installation can make a big difference to how long your Corflute signs last! πŸ‘€

When attaching Corflute to a fence, tighten your cable ties just enough to hold the sign securely without crushing the board or distorting its corners. Adding eyelets can also help reinforce the fixing points and reduce the risk of tearing.

Wind exposure, board thickness, UV exposure and even how you store your signs can also affect their lifespan.

We've put together some practical advice to help you get the most out of your Corflute signage.
