There are moments in life where you reach a crossroads, where you get to choose (and I'm always mindful of making such choices freely and without constraint) when I started my journey as a carpenter builder I had a fairly clear goal in mind, which required absolute focus and dedication and so I lived a quite one dimensional life pursuing that goal.

But as time passed and certainly with our relocation south, I lifted my head from that pursuit from time to time and glimpsed other pursuits and goals that held an attraction and I realised that my once uber important goal had become less relevant to who I'd become (self development is a lifelong pursuit)

So here I am, hanging up my apron and off in another direction to "earn a living" it's a bucket list thing, we have but one life and I've still so much I want to do.

I am immeasurably grateful and humbled by the experiences I've had, the skills I've developed and most importantly by the people I have met who (here in the metaverse and out there in the physical world) have generously given their time, knowledge and friendship along the way. You have left me a better person (and carpenter)by your contribution and I thank you for it. Please continue to shine, the worlds a better place for your presence in it.

That's another year wrapped up. 2024 is going to be getting off to a big start with a project with all kinds of challenges. Until then there's some down time to be enjoyed 👍🏻

Every project has a beginning.....
Over the last few days, drawings have been checked, adjusted and finalised, consent and resource consent applications submitted, accepted and lodged, site signs have gone up, site specific safety plans completed, safety fencing, hazard boards, the list is long and not a single hammer swing....meanwhile on the destination site the grass was cut to assist with accurate set out..... and so it begins

So after a prolonged hiatus whilst relocating to South Canterbury we're back in the saddle with a new name and a new look which, I feel, more accurately reflects our core values.

Integ comes from integrity, integral and integer.

So lets look at those in reverse order.

Integer: is whole or complete and represents that we offer a complete solution for all our projects, keeping the process simple and stress free for our clients

Integral: Relating to, or belonging as a part of the whole; constituent or component - and that's all about the partnership required between us, our clients and the other professionals we use to turn a vision into a reality. It's a team effort and each part is integral to the whole.

Integrity: To be open, honest and fair. To be our word in all aspects of our business. To be accountable to and responsible for our team, our clients and everything in our control.

The weather has been causing havoc for many of us just lately. A "break" in the weather today (it was only raining a little bit) made it possible to make some progress on the groundwork, big day and a hard day but progress was made, tomorrow is more of the same but as long as I'm making progress I'm happy 👍🏻😁
