AA Disclaimer.
We are professional installers and certified by various manufacturers eg Toshiba, Gree, Fujitsu and more. We have installed and uninstalled hundreds if not thousands of heat pumps. We take due care when we install and take our time and do as much as we can to prevent damage to the machine and your house.
Some buildings hold surprises. Should we encounter timber, electrical, communication, plumbing or steel obstructions that we can not pe*****te or circumvent we might have to attempt another place for the install or place to drill a hole or implement a more expensive method to do install. This has not happened to date, but in such a case, we can not take care of the damage done by the first attempt.
Some brick/block/concrete claddings do chip, crack or show signs of damage when we drill the hole through the wall cladding. The same with pointing, especially after the earthquake and poor repair strategy. We take due care, but can not repair or remedy or rectify damage caused by this process. The damage is normally minimal and we never had any customer complain about this.
For service : the same common problems occur re: brittle plastic and units not performing as when new. We take no responsibility for damages due to the age of the unit and the plastic.
2 nd hand heat pumps :
They could show up faults which could be the real reason why they get sold in the first place.
We can not take any responsibility for machines not working when installed.
Not working as should when installed.
Loosing form or showing signs of deforming due to age.
Not getting the unit to fit onto bent or deformed brackets.
(The full install/uninstall/service cost is still payable on the day of the invoice/ day of the job in full.)
Due to age of the plastic, it looses flexibility and vanes, body, clips and various parts can become brittle and brake or crack. We can not take any responsibility for this.
Our contract with you is to install the electrical connections correct and the copper tubing to the standard as per the manufacturers specifications, which comes down to not leaking gas at the time of install. This part we do guarantee and take responsibility for. Any machine installed by us, carries the manufacturers guarantee. In the case of Fujitsu, if we install it carries a 6 year in stead of 5 year guarantee.
