Removing the walls surrounding the fireplace has transformed this space, making the room feel more open and spacious. Heat from the new clean-air fire can now radiate throughout the area instead of escaping up the chimney, warming the home much more efficiently than before. Meanwhile, the carefully matched paneling preserves the charm and character of the house, seamlessly integrating the new design in the original space.
