It’s been a productive few weeks on our Halswell project, with the driveway completed and landscaping wrapped up. Great to see it all taking shape. Just a few final touch ups inside and it’ll be ready to put on the market.

A couple of before & afters from the exterior refresh at our St Andrew’s Square renovation.
Transforming dated yellow brick into a calm, unique bag-wash plaster finish, and giving the tired roof a fresh new coat of paint. This week, the team is excited to dive into the hard landscaping, including a new deck and pergola to create an exciting outdoor entertaining area. Watch this space.

It’s been a great first week back for the team at our Halswell Project. Completing the JSC TMT Taxon vertical shiplap cladding around the kitchen and installing a kwila 6x4m deck off the living and master bedroom area. We’re now onto the soft landscaping while the painters finish off on the inside ready for kitchen and tiles this coming week. Looking forward to having this ready for market mid next month.

It has been a strong end-of-year push for the team at our Halswell project. We completed gib fixing last week, and the plasterers have now started ahead of the Christmas break. The bricklayers successfully completed the brickwork, ready for us to return in the new year to install the vertical shiplap. We have also finished forming and placing the paths and parking area for the front house. In addition, we have received our 224, and we are aiming to have the homes on the market in late January and February.

This winter, the team refreshed the fence and entrance at our St Andrew Square project, introducing stylish kwila battens and trialling bag washing on the brick pillars in line with the homeowners’ vision for the entire home. After the front fence proved a success and achieved exactly the look we were after, we went on to complete the bag washing of the whole house—and we can’t wait to share the final result with you. It was a pleasure to attend Toby’s pre-trade graduation last week. With a year left at school, Toby decided he wanted to become a carpenter, so he left school and enrolled in the SITS pre-trade carpentry course, where he achieved his Level 3 qualification. Throughout the year, Toby has also been working with us part-time, gaining valuable hands-on experience. He is eager to learn and always punctual, and we look forward to welcoming him as part of the team as he begins his carpentry apprenticeship with us.
