Another new addition to the HEB Construction fleet, fitted out by the team at Hale Manufacturing.

This unit features the Sharp VMS truck-mounted signboard, giving HEB a highly visible, flexible traffic-management solution that can be operated directly from the vehicle.

The Sharp VMS system features a full-colour LED display, wide viewing angle, built-in radar and automatic brightness control, with a 960 × 1600 mm display designed for clear visibility in changing conditions.

Using the tablet-based controller, operators can quickly select from an extensive library of text, NZTA-approved signs and flashing messages, while the integrated radar can be used to display speed-related warnings to approaching traffic. The Sharp VMS units are also assembled and tested right here in Christchurch.

Great to see another purpose-built Hale solution heading out on the road and supporting the HEB Construction team.

Life Education Trust Canterbury relies on the incredible support of our community to ensure we can continue working with children, schools, and communities across Canterbury.

This week, that support was needed urgently, and we want to give a special shoutout to Hale Manufacturing Christchurch for their prompt assistance in getting our wheelchair lift back up and running.

The lift is a vital part of our mobile classroom, helping ensure our programme remains accessible to all tamariki who visit us. Thanks to the Colin's quick response, we were able to avoid disruption to our programme delivery and continue supporting children without interruption.

Over the weekend, our General Manager Colin proudly represented Hale Manufacturing at the Special Children’s Christmas Party, helping hand out presents to some very deserving kids.

It’s a privilege for us at Hale to support such an incredible event. One that brings joy, excitement, and unforgettable memories to children who need it most.

A huge thank you to the organisers, volunteers, and everyone who makes this day so special.
We’re honoured to play a small part in it.
