This was the very first fence repair job I was asked to do after becoming self-employed.
Looking back now, it feels nostalgic. It was a small job and shouldn’t have been difficult at all, yet I remember feeling nervous, wondering if I could really do it well. I was so focused at the time that I even forgot to take photos after it was finished — something I can now look back on with a smile.
Becoming independent after only four years of apprenticeship truly took a lot of courage. Even now, every day is a continuous learning experience, and I feel that the journey of training as a carpenter will never truly end as long as I continue doing this work.
I am grateful every day for where it all began, and for the fact that I am still able to keep doing this work. 🙏
個人事業主になって1番最初に依頼されたフェンスの修理のお仕事。今となっては懐かしい、小さな仕事で難しいことは少しもないはずなのに上手くできるかなって緊張してた。
完成の写真も残し忘れるほど当時は余裕がなかったよな〜って今思えば微笑ましい笑
たった4年の修行期間を経ての独立は本当に勇気が必要だった。今でも日々学びの連続で、大工修行はきっとこの仕事をし続ける以上は終わることがないような気がしてる。
始まりの場所、今でもこの仕事を続けられていることに日々感謝🙏
