Concrete is being poured for stage one of the project. Stage two, involving further excavation into the bank, is potentially scheduled for next year. This work replaces an existing retaining wall.

The old driveway is being ripped up to make way for a brand new top layer. We've got about 27 meters of retaining wall going up as well. Our truck just arrived with the next load for the crew.

We're redoing the batter, bulking out and changing the contour to extend this lawn by another 2 meters. This creates a wicked soccer pitch! Drainage trenches have also been added.

Currently working on a 1.5 meter high wall project, wrapping up soon. The posts are being cut to integrate seamlessly. It's been a great experience working with Troy and the Planters team.

Early start for a builder! Picking up supplies for a drainage job, heading to a site meeting in Titirangi, and prepping for a final inspection on a Mt Eden basement conversion. Then, a quick stop at Northcote to help the crew with a fence before hitting the gym. A packed day!

And that's a wrap for our Mount Eden project! Just a few small tidy-up tasks remain, like picking up some rubbish and installing a door stop. Some minor activities are being saved for a rainy day.

Heading to Placemakers in Westgate to grab 25/7 drainage aggregate for a job, then off to Titirangi for a site meeting. Final inspection for the Mt Eden basement conversion is tomorrow!

Confusion on site as the team questions a strange construction setup. Turns out, soldier piles are holding back a pool directly beneath where the house will stand.
