We had the privilege of welcoming Rt Hon Christopher Luxon and Papakura candidate Emma Chatterton at Transbuild this week, and it turned into one of those days the team won't forget in a hurry.

He walked the floor, talked to every single person he met, and was genuinely surprised by the scale, the quality, and the fact that a full Transbuild home is built and ready in around 12 weeks. That reaction never gets old.

We had a real conversation about the future of prefab and transportable construction in New Zealand. We've written up the full story on the blog - including the moment that stuck with us most from the tour.

It’s not every day you get to welcome the Prime Minister through your doors.

A big thank you to the Rt Hon Christopher Luxon, Prime Minister of New Zealand, for taking the time to visit Transbuild, get to know our business, and spend time with our team.

What stood out most was his genuine interest in listening - hearing our feedback, understanding the realities of our industry, and discussing practical ways we can work towards solutions that make building easier for Kiwis.

It was especially meaningful to have him experience our prebuilt transportable homes first-hand. These homes are more than clever construction; they are wide open, beautifully liveable spaces designed for real New Zealand lifestyles, and homes that Kiwis will genuinely love to call their own.
