Dew point is a term that gets thrown around a lot when talking about weather, humidity and comfort. But what does it actually mean?

Dew point is the temperature that water condenses at, and is usually the reason you have condensation on your windows.

But dew point doesn't just tell us about condensation! It's also a much more useful measure than relative humidity.

Ducting might not be the most glamorous part of home ventilation, but that doesn't mean it isn't essential!

Sometimes it can be difficult to fit it in though, after all, 150-200mm ducting isn't small. Particularly when you're trying to ventilate a multi-storey home.

We saw this in a recent heat recovery project, which couldn't fit traditional ducting inside its first storey floorspace. That's why we recommended our new Uniflexplus ducting.

With a vertical height of just 90mm (with 69mm and 52mm options available), this quick to install modular ducting system fit easily inside those tight floor and wall spaces.

And because of its clever 'click' based connection system, Uniflexplus maintains the ducting systems airtightness. This is critical for ensuring the efficiency of heat recovery systems, especially higher-end ones like our Econiq.
