Let's be honest. The Japanese Internavi is useless anywhere but Japan and although JDM things are nice 🔰, often the parts you can use, fail and cause battery draw issues. Just like this one. So after alot of brain strain to find how to integrate the Chinese Multimedia unit (Basically an Android Phone), we ordered all the Speakers, unit, Dash Fascia Replacement to fit the Chinese 10.1inch Android Touchscreen (which i set to show the honda badge when it starts up), Wiring Apapter Harness (that didn't work so I had to make my own Adapter Harness), Power cables, Fuses etc and a 4 Channel Compact Amp and supplies to make it all work.
✅️Modify dash and install new Fascia and 10.1" Chinese Andriod Multimedia Headunit
✅️Fab up tray to replace internavi unit and tuck the JVC Compact Amp/Install with new hardware
✅️Make compete new Fused Power feeds for Amp/Headunit and make complete new Adapter Harness to intergrate into factory Harness
✅️Wire in Factory Reverse camera with voltage boost for clearer picture, Activate Rev Cam With Shifter, Wire in Middle Row factory option video inputs, wire head unit speaker outputs to JVC Speaker amp as Speaker level input for Fader and Balance Control
✅️Intergrate all Android based items for full connectivity
✅️Modify factory tweeter grills to mount JVC Tweeters
✅️Make Speaker Risers to enable fitment of 6.5" speakers all round
✅️Install it all and make it look sexy
✅️Setup for owner and clean car out and drop off and come home..
What a ride that has been. And that was the short version if im honest. But both me and the owner are super proud of not only the Install, but the also the sound quality and concert level sound. A small powerful under seat sub would complete it, but with children, she doesn't need/want that much bass. But is extremely happy with her new sounds. Products used that weren't custom or
random little Electrical items.
