Last week our team carried out Cone Pe*******on Testing (CPT) and a soakage test to better understand the ground conditions for the design of a new settling pond.

These investigations are a key step in ensuring the design is robust, sustainable, and suited to the local geology. By combining soil strength data from CPT with infiltration rates from the soakage test, we can develop an efficient and resilient solution tailored to the site.

It’s always rewarding to see the groundwork come together – setting the foundation (literally!) for future works.
