Evening all,

Hope everyone is having a good start to the week.

Here some photos of a deck we completed a month back. We should have posted a while back, but I have been so busy with office work. Apologies for neglecting our social media haha.

The original structure was in a bad way. So we decided to re frame and extend the size . Also we have added the steps along the front of the deck.
This is going to create a lovely outdoor entertaining area for this family.

Good Morning all,

Here's some pics of the before and after, of a fence and deck we built a few weeks back.

It has definitely tidied the area up a lot. At nite time the deck looks amazing. Surface lights have been counter sunk into the deck treads .

Our clients will be making the most of this area while entertaining guests.

Here's some photos from the Tesla chargers job in Waitomo. The formwork complete & concrete now poured . All we have now is for the install of the chargers and associated items , and Tesla's can begin charging.
Once this charging site is operational, we will have more photos for you.

Afternoon all,

Abit of a late post to start the 2024 year. Apologies there as we have been under the pump.

We have some awesome projects we are currently working on and also have coming up .

The photos attached don't show much exciting, but this is going to be the new Tesla charging station at Waitomo Homestead. Something different from the usual Housing construction.
We are lucky to be working beside some great companies during this project RichmondBarr Electrical Bobcat Man Waikato . Dig out is complete, and now to boxing, concrete and then charger installs next week.

Evening all,

This will be our last post of the year, as our holidays begin and the tool belt gets a rest. We would like to firstly thank you all for the support, and hope you all have a safe Xmas and New Years holiday.
We can't wait to get stuck into the 2024 year with some awesome projects to come.

We thought signing off the year with one of our favorite jobs of the year. Zealong Tea , tea room renovation. We have saved the amazing photos for a special post, and being the festive season this is a perfect time.

Thanks to all our amazing sub trades for the outstanding work as per usual. Also to Zealong Tea for trusting us again with another project. Most importantly these photos wouldn't be possible with out the skills of Standfast photography .

Evening all,

A nice little fill in job we completed last week. 2 x double garages line in Redline 9mm plywood. Also lined the open ceiling with gib board. This has now made both these garages rather smart.
Not an overly complicated job, and reasonably affordable to. Suprising how this can transform your garage into a well presentable area.

A big thanks to our sub trades, who once again did an outstanding job. Waikato Door Specialists Ltd Stop It Plasterers , Pinnacle Painting & Decorating, Acorn ITM .

Afternoon all,

Hopefully the week is starting off well.
Some progress on our Hillcrest High Pellet boiler job.

The block infill wall is in place and ready for rendering.
Machinery has started to be installed in the boiler room. A technician flown out from Austria has been busy onsite last week, putting everything together.
As you can see it is rather complicated, and still is in the early stages.

We can't wait to see this thing up and running in the new year.
The 2nd stage to this job begins mid Jan 2024.

We will keep you all posted.

Morning all,

Hopefully everyone is enjoying this stunning day. Well atleast in the Waikato area it is haha.

Some more progress on the Hillcrest High Pellet boiler job. Ceilings are getting lined, foundations are poured and blocks are starting to form nicely.
We have painters starting in the main boiler room next week. By end of next week we will have the blocks completed and some joinery items going in place .

I will keep you all updated next week.

Afternoon all,

We have managed to finally get access to the Hillcrest High site. Asbestos removal got the clearances needed to allow us to begin the project.
Here's some photos of a bare shell after the Asbestos & coal boiler have been removed. All that is left is the concrete plinths and a block wall.

We are starting to remove the concrete plinth, blocks, and begin framing the ceilings for lining.

We will keep everyone posted during this project.

Evening all,

Apologies for the late post. Finding time in business life is sometimes a challenge haha .

Heres a few before photos from the outside of our current project at Hillcrest High School. We are working along side a company who is removing the existing coal boiler, as part of a decarbonization plan set by the government.
This is being replaced with a Pellet boiler system.

We are excited to work on such a project as it is something new for us. We will keep you posted with more photos.

Afternoon all,

This is a slightly different post to what we usually do, but we thought we would share with you.

Very proud to have the first apprentice turn tradesman over the line and through his apprenticeship.
(Although this happened Start of last year. Until returning back to NZ we didn't have his certificate, but now we can award it to him)
So proud of the hard work he has put in, and the great attitude to keep on going . Apprenticeships do require some determination and drive. So a big cheers to you Benny and also to any other guys and girls who strive for this.

Evening all,

Hopefully the week is going well for everyone.

Here's some photos of a lift conversion we created for some clients in Hamilton. We had to create a lift shaft through what was once the laundry. By moving the laundry across to a cupboard and changing the ground floor lay out, we ended up with this. A lift which goes from the garage to the kitchen dining area.

We are so pleased at the result and our clients patience throughout the project. I'm sure they will be getting plenty of use out of it in the years to come.
