Job Description:

As an Administrator at Quality Traffic Management, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to our team. Your role will include managing office operations, handling correspondence, maintaining files, and ensuring smooth communication across departments. You will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day functions of the organization, ensuring the work environment remains efficient and organized.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and organize schedules, meetings, and appointments for management
Handle incoming calls, emails, and other communications professionally
Assist with document preparation, data entry, and filing
Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for team members
Support with payroll, invoicing, and budget tracking
Assist with HR tasks such as employee records management and onboarding
Provide general administrative support as needed
Qualifications:

Proven experience as an administrator, office assistant, or relevant role
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
A positive, proactive attitude and team player
Preferred Skills:

Experience with office management software ( training will be provided for workforce software)
Previous experience in administration
Must be proficient in English

We are looking for casual CAT A B STMS, Traffic Management Operatives (TMO) / Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) Workers to join the team in Hamilton.

You will assist with the implementation and supervision of temporary traffic management sites, working alongside your Supervisor to ensure the safety of the team, client and public. Duties include setting up worksites, installing signs and deploy cones, operate stop/go signs, maintain, and monitor the site, direct traffic flow etc. Full PPE supplied.

On the job training may be also required; depending on experience. Drivers license is required. Class 1 full license is a must but class 2 preferred.

24/7 rotating roster including weekends. Shift times to be discussed with employer.

Job Pre-requisites:
MUSTs:
- Keen attitude to learn, as full training and certification is provided (prior experience etc. preferred).
- Reliable transport to get to and from work.
- Able to work weekends when required.
- Able to pass a reference check, police check and drug test. Convictions are considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Must pass a pre D&A test.

Expected Attendance:
Available for day shift, night shift, weekend work or stay away.

We welcome Nz Citizen, students, international students with working conditions, open work visa with no conditions and resident visa.
