Pivot doors have long been a feature of high-end architectural homes. APL's new pivot door system means you can now specify them with more scale than ever before.

The door was developed in partnership with FritsJurgens, Europe’s leading pivot hardware specialist based in the Netherlands. The concealed top-and-bottom pivot mechanism transfers panel loads vertically rather than laterally, significantly reducing stress on the door frame and surrounding structure.

This means greater design freedom, improved long-term performance, and the ability to specify larger, heavier entrance panels with confidence.

Behind the design: why Centrafix® recesses joinery into the building wall. By recessing joinery into the building wall, Centrafix® aligns the insulation elements of the wall, frame, and glazing to reduce thermal loss around the perimeter of the window system.

As part of the ThermalHeart+® window system, installation, frame, and glazing work together to improve overall performance. When ThermalHeart+® frames, The AGP System®, and Centrafix® are specified together, it can achieve almost double the thermal performance of standard non-thermally improved aluminium joinery.

Centrafix® has been BRANZ appraised for weathertightness and has CodeMark certification.
