1 Cook Street, Hamilton East – Project Update
As we move into the final stages of construction at our One Cook Street project in Hamilton East, it’s exciting to see the project rapidly taking shape.
The mild winter weather conditions over the past three weeks have provided ideal opportunities for completing a significant amount of external works. While the site was blanketed in fog over the past couple of mornings, it certainly didn’t slow down our hardworking concrete placing teams, who successfully completed the vehicle crossings this week.
Internally, fit-out works are progressing well, with many areas now nearing completion. Landscaping has also commenced at the rear of the site, adding another layer of transformation to the development.
A major milestone was reached this week with the removal of the tower crane from site. We would like to sincerely thank the Hamilton East community for their patience and understanding throughout the crane operations and any temporary disruptions associated with this work.
Our balustrading contractors are continuing to make excellent progress, while the removal of approximately 95% of the scaffold has now revealed the building in almost its completed form. It has been incredibly rewarding to see the vision for this project come to life on the banks of the Waikato River.
Most importantly, we would like to acknowledge and thank all of our dedicated contractors, consultants, and site teams for their continued hard work, professionalism, and commitment to delivering this outstanding project.
We look forward to sharing further updates as completion draws closer.
