We're incredibly proud to have supported the Glen Massey School PTA Kiwiana Quiz Night and to see the community come together to raise an amazing $10,195!

Congratulations to everyone involved in making the evening such a success. Knowing these funds will go towards upgrading the school pool and facilities for future generations of tamariki makes it even more rewarding.

Thank you to the Glen Massey School PTA for the kind words and for allowing us to play a small part in such a fantastic community initiative. Supporting the communities we work in is something we're proud to do.

Winter is commissioning season… and what a season it has been! ❄️⚙️

Across New Zealand, our engineers have spent the past few months on customer sites, commissioning projects that will help improve manufacturing processes, increase efficiency, and support production for years to come.

It's incredibly rewarding to see the results of months and often years of planning and collaboration come to life. From successful first batches rolling off production lines to achieving performance improvements that exceed expectations, every milestone is a testament to the dedication of our team and the partnerships we've built with our customers.

As we head into the final few weeks of what is always our busiest time of year, we want to take a moment to say thank you.

To our engineers, project managers, and support teams - thank you for your commitment, professionalism, and willingness to go the extra mile. Long days, cold mornings, weekends away from home, and the inevitable challenges of commissioning are all met with resilience, teamwork, and an unwavering focus on delivering for our customers. We couldn't be prouder of what you've achieved.

To our customers - thank you for your trust, collaboration, and support throughout these projects. Successful commissioning is a true partnership, and we appreciate the opportunity to work alongside your teams to deliver these outcomes.

We're looking forward to finishing the season strong and celebrating the successes together.

Another fantastic few days at ROKLive 2026, hosted by Rockwell Automation, Inc. and NHP.
Our Managing Director, Rex Robinson, and Rachel Arcos Busby our Taranaki Lead Automation Engineer, had the opportunity to attend this year's conference, joining industry leaders to explore the latest innovations, emerging technologies, and future trends shaping industrial automation.
The conference provided valuable technical insights, inspiring presentations, and plenty of opportunities to connect with peers, partners, and industry experts from across Australasia. It was certainly a full schedule, informative, engaging, and yes... a little exhausting but made all the more enjoyable thanks to the outstanding hospitality from the Rockwell Automation and NHP teams.
A huge thank you to our hosts for putting together such a well-run event and creating an environment that encourages learning, collaboration, and innovation.
We're looking forward to putting many of the ideas and insights into practice as we continue delivering world-class automation solutions for our customers.

We love celebrating the incredible talents and passions our team bring both inside and outside of work, and this week we’re giving a huge shoutout to Shelley from our South Office! 🎉🍰
Last weekend, Shell was honoured to be invited to the NZ Cake Decorators Guild Annual Conference in Silverstream, Lower Hutt, where she assisted one of only three demonstrators selected to present at the event alongside two international guest artists.
Together, they showcased an innovative technique that transforms edible paper into fabric-like designs, complete with embossing and stencilling details to create stunning cake artistry. With just 1.25 hours to complete each display cake, the demonstration highlighted not only creativity, but incredible precision and skill.
The cakes may have been display dummies rather than real cake, but the artistry was absolutely real! 👏
We’re proud to support and celebrate the passions our people pursue beyond the workplace, well done Shell on such a special achievement!

Congratulations to one of our constant rising stars, Ashley Bowen, on his promotion to Lead Senior Engineer.

This promotion recognises not only Ashley’s outstanding technical ability, but also the way he works alongside others, supporting and encouraging their development every step of the way.

Ashley consistently demonstrates exceptional customer relationships and professionalism, which is why he is regarded as one of the best engineers in the industry. Just as importantly, he’s one of those genuinely great people who makes the team around him better.

You may notice Ashley sporting a sling in this photo after breaking his collarbone playing football, but even that hasn’t stopped us getting the same smiling, positive team player we all know.

Congratulations Ashley, thoroughly deserved!

We had a great day at the University of Canterbury Careers Expo with Managing Director Rex Robinson, South Branch Manager Brent Webster, and UC graduate Teran Abeydeera representing Nemesys.
It was fantastic meeting more than 50 enthusiastic students studying within our industry, all eager to explore what’s next in their career journey and learn more about the opportunities ahead.
We thoroughly enjoyed the conversations, sharing insights into the industry, and hearing about the ambitions and goals of future graduates. A special highlight was having Teran alongside us, sharing his own journey from University of Canterbury student to Graduate Engineer at Nemesys.
We’re excited to continue connecting with emerging talent and look forward to launching our recruitment drive for our January 2027 Graduate Intake in July/August this year.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat with us, we look forward to seeing where your career journey takes you!

We’re proud to celebrate three members of the Nemesys team who recently attended their university graduation ceremonies after completing their engineering degrees last year.
Congratulations to:
Marcus Herrera - Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honours Electrical and Electronic Engineering
Teran Abeydeera - Bachelor of Engineering with Second Class Honours
Mechatronics Engineering
Samuel Roche - Bachelor of Engineering with Second Class Honours First Division Mechatronics Engineering

While completing their studies last year was a significant achievement in itself, what has been equally impressive has been the way all three have transitioned into their engineering roles at Nemesys. From long customer simulation hours to the demands of high-performance technical delivery, they have embraced the challenges of the profession with professionalism, commitment, and excellence.
It’s exciting to see these talented engineers already making such a strong impact within our team, and we’re thrilled to celebrate this important milestone with them.
Congratulations Marcus, Teran and Samuel, we’re proud to have you as part of the Nemesys team and look forward to seeing your careers continue to grow.
