Are you a Qualified builder wanting to advance your career into a Foreman role with experience in commercial and residential new builds and renovations?
Creative Construction, a locally owned building company servicing the Waikato, is looking for a skilled employee to join our growing team!
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Must be a NZ Qualified builder for a minimum of 2+ years
✔ Strong background in residential and commercial new builds and renovations
✔ Full driver’s license (HT Class 2 license is a bonus!)
✔ Own tools and vehicle
✔ Excellent time management and communication skills
✔️ NZ residency or a valid NZ Work Visa

The Work We Do:
🔹 New builds
🔹 Commercial and residential additions & renovations
🔹 Fences & decks
🔹 Concrete flooring systems
🔹 Retaining walls & earthworks
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
🔨 Interpret building plans with accuracy and calculate required material quantities
🔨 Set out project layouts and profiles with precision
🔨 Carry out concrete formwork, including foundations, boxed driveways, and pathways
🔨Manage all stake holders onsite with minimal supervision
🔨 Construct timber framing, perform joinery, and install a variety of cladding types
🔨 Complete interior linings, hang internal doors, and install finishings and hardware
🔨 Build and install decks and fencing structures
🔨 Ensure a consistently safe, tidy, and organised work environment
🔨 Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
🔨 Maintain a professional, respectful, and courteous attitude at all times
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Occasional Saturdays, 7:30 AM – 1:00 PM
