NZAero

30/09/2026

We’re pleased to share our new partnership with Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (NMIT), aimed at helping grow New Zealand’s aviation engineering workforce.

The planned training initiative will bring NMIT’s specialist aviation education into NZAero’s working aircraft manufacturing environment in Hamilton—giving more North Island learners access to aviation engineering training and a closer connection to industry.

It’s an important investment in the people and skills needed to support the future of aircraft manufacturing, maintenance and aviation in New Zealand.

Division winners + Overall Corporate Cup

17/09/2026

A great result for Team NZAero last weekend at the Corporate Cup at the Grassroots Trust Velodrome!

Our team took out our division AND the overall Corporate Cup for the fastest time of the event.

Across three races, the team recorded the three fastest times, each more than two seconds clear — a pretty impressive effort from everyone involved.

A good day out of the factory, plenty of friendly competition, and a great result to bring home.

Well done, team!

It was a privilege to welcome His Excellency Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, and the accompanying delegation to our event at Ardmore last week.

One of the key moments was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between NZAero and Top Flying Company Limited, marking the next stage of our long-standing aviation relationship with Thailand.

The delegation also had an opportunity to see NZAero’s aircraft and learn more about the wider manufacturing capability—and the people—behind them.

Thank you to NZTE, Top Flying, NZ Warbirds, Ardmore Airport, the participating government agencies and everyone who helped make the visit possible.

First two days of Fieldays and a beautiful Waikato afternoon.
We rolled a few of our aircraft outside the factory for a bit of sunshine.
If you're making the trip to Mystery Creek this week, there's a good chance you've driven straight past New Zealand's only commercial aircraft manufacturer.

An honour for NZAero to attend last weeks's celebration marking the 70th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between New Zealand and Thailand at the Beehive in Wellington.

It was a special evening recognising the long-standing relationship between both countries, with a strong showcase of culture, community, and collaboration.

Thank you to the organisers and hosts for the invitation and hospitality.
