A little old, a little new — and a whole lot of deck.

At the client’s request, we reused some of the original decking timber that was still in great shape and worked it into the new deck alongside fresh boards.

We worked the old and new boards together so once it’s sealed it’ll come up looking pretty sharp.
Smart and practical.

Just over a year and a half ago, Phill and I took a leap of faith and started our building business focused on renovations and repairs/maintenance.

What scared us wasn’t failure—it was wondering if we were truly capable. Were we enough?

It’s been quite a journey. We’ve delivered great projects for our customers while growing our own skills and resilience. There have been late nights, disagreements, and even tears, but also wins, lessons learned, and real achievements.

One big thing we pride ourselves on is making sure we’re always showing up for our customers. We aim to price our jobs fairly and go the extra mile. I’m incredibly proud to share some of the written feedback we’ve received. To have an average 5/5 star rating on Builderscrack is a wonderful reminder that our hard work is paying off.

As we move into the next phase of our company, which is learning more about building a strong infrastructure of a business and navigating the common pitfalls that new businesses often encounter. I’m excited to see where this journey takes us.

Will we succeed? Statistically, maybe not. But are we going to give it everything we’ve got? Absolutely.
