This International Rural Women's Day, we're celebrating one of our Agri Managers, Stacey, and the many women who help rural New Zealand thrive.

One of the things Stacey loves most about farm life is raising her family in a rural environment.

"It's been a natural playground for my kids, where they've had the freedom to explore, learn about animals and enjoy being outdoors every day."

Her favourite time of day is bringing the cows in for milking.

“You get to watch the girls make their way to the shed at their own pace, often with a beautiful sunrise in the background. It's a chance to take a breath, enjoy the quiet, and reflect before the day gets busy. There's something pretty special about starting the day surrounded by animals and fresh air.”

Stories like Stacey's are a reminder of the people behind our agricultural sector. At LIC, we're grateful for the contribution rural women make every day, helping farms succeed, supporting their communities and strengthening the future of New Zealand dairy.

Thanks to all our shareholders who voted and had their say in this year’s elections, and congratulations to our newly elected and appointed Board and Shareholder Reference Group members.

We also reflected on the year that’s been and how LIC is continuing to invest to deliver value for farmers today and into the future.

CHANGE OF SCENERY FOR OUR WAIKATO TEAM 🌾🐂

On Wednesday, our Waikato team were invited to visit LIC, where they had the opportunity to view some of their latest beef genetics and learn more about different collection and mating practices.

Pictured behind the crew are a group of Synergizer bulls, combining the best of Charolais and Stabilizer genetics to deliver easy-calving, well-marked calves.

Carrfields thanks the team at LIC for their invitation and delivering an insightful and educational visit.
