After our fantastic Job Shop manager Shae Clarke was offered the opportunity of a lifetime with the NZ Airforce, we are now looking for a new Job Shop Team Leader and customer services champion for our busy Machine Shop in Hastings, Hawke's Bay.
This role is the face of our business for local customers and the first point of contact for many of our national and international customers. The role is responsible for leading and managing the Job Shop area of We Can Precision Engineering Ltd. From quoting work, materials knowledge, managing suppliers and outwork, building customer relationships, quality management and providing training to our group of apprentices, the role requires a high level of machining experience on a range of manual lathes, mills and other Job Shop machines. CNC experience is useful, while the right 'We Can' attitude is essential.
This is an opportunity for a mechanical engineer early in their career wanting to move into a leadership role, or for a highly experienced tradesman who has practical experience and wants to be part of a leading precision engineering team.
