It’s the new name for what was Shelving Shop Group and Novalok - one business now operating under one identity.

Why Volume?

Because a shelving project is measured in volume.

The capacity a system holds.

The flow of people, stock, and work moving through it.

And the commercial or operational result that follows when the design is right – more sales for a retailer, more time with patients for a hospital, more throughput for a warehouse.

The previous name described what we sell. Volume reflects what we actually do.

We've been sitting on some exciting news and we're almost ready to give you the full details.

When Shelving Shop Group acquired Novalok in January 2024, we became one team from day one. For the past two and a half years, that's exactly what we've been - one group of people, working together, looking after our customers. Two names didn't quite tell that story.

On 11 May, that changes. We're launching as a single, unified brand. One name that better reflects who we are and what we've built.

One thing worth noting for our Novalok customers. The Novalok name isn't going anywhere. It lives on as a flagship product range for industry-leading sterile shelving.

For everyone we work with: same team, same products, same way of working. We're excited about what's coming, and we can't wait to show you more.

The Government's new Investment Boost is designed to encourage businesses to invest in the assets they need to grow.

From May 2025, you can deduct 20% of the cost of any new eligible asset from your taxable income in the year of purchase on top of standard depreciation.

What does that mean for you?

• If you're considering new shelving or racking, the Investment Boost could reduce your upfront tax burden.
• The 20% deduction applies to new depreciable assets, which include most commercial storage systems.
• You still benefit from normal depreciation over time, but now there's an additional saving in year one, helping to improve cash flow.

For example, a $50,000 investment in pallet racking could give you an immediate $10,000 tax deduction this year.

This incentive is particularly useful if you're planning a warehouse fit-out, upgrading your retail shelving, or simply need an additional shelf or two.

Get the right advice first.

Tax rules can be complex, so it's worth talking to your accountant or financial advisor about how this could work for your business.

If you're already considering a shelving or storage upgrade, now might be the right time to explore options.

We're thrilled to showcase our latest project with Gilmours in Napier! Our team at Shelving Shop Group completed a detailed racking fitout, including:
• 104 bays of pallet racking
• 18 bays of galvanised pallet racking for the chiller
• 34 bays of hot dip galvanised longspan racking for the freezers

We tackled challenges such as seismic safety and future-proofing, completing the project in just 2.5 weeks! Thanks to our large stockpile and rapid problem-solving abilities, we ensured a seamless and efficient fitout.
