Position: Carpenter/Experienced hammerhand
Location: Invercargill and surrounding areas
Allen Building Ltd is a small local construction firm, delivering high quality residential and light commercial construction projects, along with a range of small jobs from insurance and maintenance work to bathrooms and kitchens. We are seeking a NZ qualified carpenter to assist with the continued delivery of this workload.
Key requirements
-Oversee and manage carpentry jobs.
-Interpret drawings and specifications accurately.
-Oversee and provide training to apprentices when required.
-Coordinate with clients and subcontractors.
-Manage and maintain construction materials, equipment and tools.
-Good communication skills
-Show initiative and be solution orientated.
-Health and safety conscious.
Qualifications
-Proven experience as a builder.
-NZ certificate in carpentry.
-Ability to work effectively alone or as part of a team.
-Full NZ driver’s licence.
A work vehicle will be supplied to the right applicant
