You may have noticed things have been a little quiet on here…

The past few weeks have been full on across Southland, with many people responding to the effects of the recent weather. Throughout it all, our team has continued their work with care, patience and steady commitment. We’re incredibly proud of them. We’ve also been reminded of the resilience, generosity and support that runs through this community. When things get tough, Southland shows up for each other, and that’s something we’re truly grateful to be part of.

With things beginning to settle again, we’re opening the doors to our Nelson street homes this weekend for anyone who’d like to step through and take a look:

We love a challenge, and this Earn Street re-roof definitely gave us that!

With its steep two storey pitch, angled eaves, and detailed metal fascia, it was one of the more complex roofs we’ve tackled in recent years. But the end result speaks for itself. Sharp, durable, and ready to handle whatever Southland weather throws at it. (and judging by today’s rain and hail, it’s already earning its keep!😂🌧️)

Sitting proudly in a small Appleby cul-de-sac, Bryce and Michelle’s home now stands out for all the right reasons. It’s the only two storey-house on the street, and with its new roof, it’s given the whole area a fresh new look as you turn the corner. 🏠

We’re so grateful to Bryce and Michelle for trusting us with their home. Projects like this remind us just how rewarding the challenging ones can be. 👷‍♂️💚
