🐄 Milk Powder Mixing Station | Making Calf Feeding More Efficient 🐄
🐮 At Glendhu Dairies, we’re always looking for practical ways to improve efficiency, save time and make everyday jobs easier for our team.
🥛 Our milk powder mixing station is a great example of this in action. The tank, manufactured by Advantage - Advantage Plastics and plumbed by DairyTech South can mix up to 4,000 litres of milk powder and water in just a matter of minutes, with the purpose-built building completed by G Kay Building -Jarrod Kay.
❄️ Once mixed, the milk is pumped directly into our calf milk vats or calf cafeterias, creating a faster and more streamlined feeding process.
🐮 Being able to prepare such a large volume at once is saving our team an hour or more of labour each day during the busy calf-rearing season.
🥛 And on those cold, wet Southland days, being able to mix the milk quickly under cover and pump it directly where it needs to go makes a big difference — reducing time spent out in the weather and making the job that much easier for our team.
