Another masterful reclad nearly wrapped up! Finished pics to come.

Not only did we take the opportunity to upgrade the flashings and spouting - ensuring this home will be well protected well into the future - we were able to tackle hidden rot arising from the failure of the old compromised cladding.

All this and we've come in under budget for our clients!

Reclads are high risk and we are noticing a particular type of sheet cladding has begun failing over the past few years, make sure you do your due diligence when considering a building company for your project.

Craftsmanship, attention to detail, and huge value – the boy's have done a great job on this one.

Final section of trim to complete our ground floor soffit install - now ready for a good coat of stain - looks mint against the copper downpipes!

Time to put things back together out at our Hihi job!

Reinstalling the soffit timber we originally pulled down to replace this balcony. A quick buzz through our thicknesser and these boards have come up good as new.

As always, a stunningly clean install by the crew - helps when working with beautiful materials.

Quick update on our Hihi project - we are now weatherproof!

Crisis averted and our wrap corridor worked beautifully to get the soggy framing timber dried out due to a failure in the previous cladding.

Waterproofing membrane is now down including an emergency install to a flat roof that had delaminated in sever winds, saving further remedial works from.

The crew continues to impress with clean, professional work all round.

Creative problems need creative solutions.

Removing the existing cladding, we found moisture —our meter was off the charts! Recladding on hold while we dry out the framing and keep the house protected while enduring multiple weather events.

Shrink wrap the whole house? Strip the interior linings, dry it from the inside, then reline and repaint?

Instead, we built a faux wall off our new, expertly built balcony—allowing us to dry the framing and keep sheltered now for the duration of the build. This has saved the client thousands and ensures the long-term health and integrity of their home.

The sharpest tool in a builder’s kit should always be their mind.
