Bellingham Quarries require an experienced class 5 truck and trailer driver. The role, based in Kaitaia, will require carting aggregate and agricultural lime product to customers/farmers and so it is important that you are able to back a three-axle trailer competently. Trailing metal from both the truck and trailer will also be necessary. During our quieter season, work will be available in the quarry on heavy machinery, applicants will need to be willing to operate these machines (training will be provided).

You will be reporting directly to the company directors and sales/reception, overtime will also be needed when necessary to meet customer demand (with overtime rates).

Applicants that have any of the following will be a plus, but are not essential:
*Wheels, tracks, rollers
*Heavy vehicle licences: HT, dangerous goods etc,
*First aid certificate

Bellingham Quarries Ltd is looking for operators who can operate an ADT truck and can start immediately.

Experience is preferred but not necessary, and any of the following licenses/certificates/experience will be useful:

Heavy vehicle license
Wheels, Tracks, Rollers Endorsement
First Aid Certificate
Any experience in a quarry, or on quarry machinery.

Overtime rates will apply.
