Ply linings all complete, ready for internal doors and start prepping for paint. V-groove ceilings are all getting sprayed an off white colour while the walls are getting a whitewash. So the wood grain of the ply will be still visible but it will lighten the place up. Pine has a tenancy to go a dark, golden honey colour as it ages if you varnish it.

Ceilings have gone up in the minor dwelling. 9mm v-groove MDF panel line that is going to look great when it’s all painted up. The high ceilings in this cottage are really coming into their own, it may be 60m2 but it feels a lot bigger.

A small veranda I completed and re-laid new decking on the stairs. It’s is going to be roofed in Ampelite 5 rib opal roofing so pushed the spans for the rafters and purlins to the maximum in the NZ3604 standard to allow as much light in as possible. The client has had this in mind for years, so glad to be able to help in making the space more usable in both summer and winter.

The pole shed all completed and ready for summer. The only problem with a shed is it is never going to be big enough!

Good to get the poleshed slab poured yesterday. Stripped the boxing this morning on a pretty wet and windy day. Just got to cut it and let it cure a bit more then the will be able to frame up the ends of the building and get it closed in.
