The Umber interior in our Coromandel Homewerk house 🤎

This colourway was designed with colour theory at its heart - the quiet understanding that colour isn’t just visual, it’s emotional. It can ground us, balance us, and gently lift us at the same time.

Inspired by whenua tones, natural ochres, and earth pigments, the Umber palette draws from the land itself. These are colours that feel familiar to the body- steady, calm, and deeply human.

The main wall colour is a rich, warm beige, inspired by the local Coromandel sands. Soft but substantial, it wraps the space in warmth without ever feeling heavy. It holds light beautifully, shifting through the day, always calm, always comforting.
