I have spent my whole career as a builder, mainly in the mid north area, but also gaining international experience in Scotland and Australia. During my career I have worked on many varied projects, covering most aspects of construction, new residential, commercial, alterations, renovations, extensions, farm buildings, retaining walls, decks, paths, pools, re piling, outdoor areas and hard scaping.
April 2015- February 2023 (8 years) KERI BUILD LIMITED has been part of the team of contractors, constructing the Quail Ridge Country Club in Kerikeri. For the first 2 years I was a Leading Hand, Site Foreman for 4 years and then on to Site Supervisor for the last 2 years. During this time I have been part of the construction of 128 high end new residential homes, a large indoor pool , a bowling green, men’s shed, 3 XXL retaining walls and numerous other projects to make a working village. In this 8 years I have gained a wealth of knowledge, developed systems and programs that improve efficiency and stream line the construction of new residential builds, with an average build time of 22 weeks from profiles to hand over for homes 180m2/250m2. I have also gained a wealth of experience in site management, site development, dealing with the planning and consenting process and health and safety practices and strong relationships with other Building contractors, subtrades and suppliers.
