We love seeing progress, and there is no better feeling than having a load of pre-fabricated manholes depart to site.

In this case, we are dispatching a series of stormwater manholes to a large project near Arrowtown.

The plastic chambers have an obvious advantage when it comes to speed of installation. The contractor has exploited this further by utilising Euroflo pipe, a ribbed PE stormwater pipe that has a complementary weight advantage.

There is plenty more to come for this project, and our team are busy working through the remainder of the solutions.

Recently we received some good photos from one of our customers, who has been putting our plastic chambers to good use in a septic tank riser application. This reduces the effort required each time the septic tank needs to be inspected and cleaned. The plastic chamber also makes for a much easier project, one that the customer did by himself without the need for a digger or other lifting equipment.

Two busy beavers on a Monday morning. Ross & Greg are getting stuck into some PE chambers today, for two very different applications.
The plain wall PE pipe chamber is a custom-built manhole, in this case, achieving a steep outlet grade and large internal fall on a sewer line. This platform is ideal for the out-of-the-ordinary, as we have free scope to build exactly what the design requires.
In Ross's corner are some PE manhole bases for stormwater applications. Euroflo OD630 pipe is being welded into the base, providing an extremely simple interface for Euroflo pipe connection on site.
Both solutions are part of our ROMOLD plug & play solutions. Manhole chambers that drastically reduce installation time, with no shortage of long-term durable functionality.

The team has been knocking it out of the park lately, so an executive call was made to hit the boats for a fishing vs spearfishing day. Weather was perfect, allowing us to test a variety of spots. It all paid off as well, with the fishos taking home a good catch of snapper, and the spearos collecting a mixed bag of table fish and a nice snapper to boot. How good is it to live in the Bay of Islands!

It is satisfying to see a job well done, and to see carefully built manhole chambers dispatched to site.

The manholes here are built for a sub-division in Timaru, where monolithic (fully-welded) DN1000 PE manhole chambers will be installed within a swale. The manholes will be connected to PE pipe on site with EF couplers.

The team has been working extremely hard over the last weeks building these to specification and testing to ensure that the result will match expectations.

We are all super excited to see this project hit the road on it's way to the customer, and have taken a lot of pride in the outcome of this job.

We were fortunate last week to slip some customer engagement in between weather events. Geth Lewis and Simon from Faulks, and Eric from Harrison Bloy Queenstown dropped in to sample some of our local Bay of Islands spearfishing. Glad to have been able to put on a good day with plenty of fish around and some good stories to take home.
