Started onsite this week 🏡🎉🍻 Designed and to be built by SGB Construction. This project consists of a 70sqm backyard extension, 45sqm garage extension plus extensive internal alterations. Very excited for this one to take shape! A long time in the making 🎉🎉🎉

SGB Construction are looking for an experienced NZ trade qualified builder to join our busy team as a onsite project manager / foreman 🎉

SGB Construction is a growing construction company specialising in bespoke renovations, extensions and new builds - no developments or cookie cutter work.
SGB Construction are based in Lower Hutt however our work is in Lower Hutt and Wellington.

The SGB team is a young close knit crew of 13, with plenty of banter on site. We work hard but also know how to kick back on a Friday.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

🛠 NZ Trade qualification in Carpentry/Building
🛠 Foreman position
🛠 Ability and confidence to run multiple sites, liaise with clients, organise subcontractors and teach apprentices.
Full New Zealand Drivers Licence required
🛠 Confident with residential construction
Comprehensive understanding of the NZ building code.
🛠 Ideally have your own tool kit.
🛠 Take site Health and Safety seriously
🛠 Be motivated to work and have a positive attitude
🛠 Have a keen eye for detail and able to execute quality building work
🛠 Eager to teach and pass your knowledge onto other builders
🛠 Must be a team player who loves working closely with others

Retro-fit of around 20 new aluminium windows into the historic burger liquor building on Willis Street. Tricky job fitting the new aluminium windows into the brick and concrete exterior walls. Lots of relining and fire rating work to create a shared office space above burger liquor 🍔🍻

Swipe to see after, during and before photos of a reclad and window replacement in Seatoun. We reclad this 1910 home with PVC weatherboards by This property is close to the sea and exposed to the elements so the owners wanted a low maintenance product. It comes pre finished no painting required. We replaced the windows in the house with PVC frames with double glazed low E glass filed with argon gas by 🏡🏡🏡
