Teamwork in action!
MJH partnered with LT Transport to relocate 26-metre-long power poles. Carefully navigating narrow farm roads, the poles were safely delivered back to the main road, ready for the next stage of transport.

We’re excited to see the grand opening of Te Matapihi Wellington Central Library this weekend!

MJH Engineering is incredibly proud to have worked alongside LT McGuinness Ltd on this iconic project, helping strengthen and restore one of Wellington’s landmark buildings.

Projects like this are special to be part of, helping strengthen and preserve an important feature of Wellington for generations to come.

Join in the opening weekend celebrations (10am - 5pm Sat & Sun), as Te Matapihi reopens to the public!

We’re incredibly proud to share that MJH has won the 2025 Excellence in Steel Award for Earthquake Strengthening for our work on the Te Matapihi Wellington Central Library project!

Huge congratulations to Mace and Anton for leading this highly complex and technically demanding project. Making it to the finalist stage was already a huge achievement, but taking out the top award is truly the icing on the cake.

This project pushed boundaries and showcased the skill, dedication, and problem-solving that define MJH. A massive thank you to everyone involved for your hard work and commitment. This win is a testament to what our team can achieve together.

Great to be partnering with Naylor Love and Te Nukuao Wellington Zoo to help create a safe, modern new space for the chimps to climb, relax, and play. Our team has been busy installing new chimp nests for the refreshed Chimp Playroom so the chimps can lounge in style!

Proud to support our local schools and future engineers! It’s great to see the steel structure going up at Hutt Valley High School’s new classroom block—progress is well underway, and we’re thrilled to be part of it!

🦺 Great to see the steel structures of our new classroom being installed and the progress being made. Thank you again to HVHS’s long-standing industry partner, MJH Engineering, for fabricating and erecting these structures.

🦺 MJH Engineering generously support HVHS students and teachers by donating materials, providing teacher professional development in welding processes, offering student work experience and specialist training, and giving our school access to discounted supplies, often at rates much better than we could secure independently. This ongoing support and the opportunities they provide give our students a meaningful insight into the world of engineering and construction.
