Like Transpecs, Atlas Concrete has a long history in Auckland. Founded in 1940, the business has grown into a major supplier of concrete products and aggregates across the region, built on strong relationships and the consistent supply of quality materials.

Helping keep that supply moving are these two new alloy units, pictured outside Atlas Concrete’s newly built dry goods yard in Takapuna. Built by Transport Trailers, who have also been in business for 70 years. These trailers are equipped with:

• SAF INTRADISC axles, combining a lightweight, robust design with low wear and reduced maintenance requirements
• WABCO intelligent EBS, providing load-responsive braking, ABS and rollover stability support for greater control on the road

Captured in the stunning Waitaki Valley, Whitestone Contracting's TES-built bottom dumpers are hard at work dressing gravel roads while surrounded by snow-covered Southern Alps scenery.

The 3-axle semi bottom dumper, fitted with SAF BI9 axles supplied by Transpecs, has now completed its first year in service and is performing exceptionally well.

Beside it is another proven performer – a TES-built 4-axle pull bottom dumper that has been working reliably since 2016.

Another impressive pair of Jackson Enterprises transporter builds for Auto Logistics Ltd.

These two new truck and semi-trailer transporters include Jackson Enterprises’ innovative hydraulic ram powered floor solution, helping improve loading and unloading efficiency across the operation.

Transpecs is proud to have supplied key heavy transport components for both builds, along with brake certification completed by Geoff Duffy from the Transpecs Brake Certification team.

Craig Bullock and the Bullock Carriers Ltd team in Auckland have taken delivery of this standout Scania build, crafted by Koromiko Engineering in Mt Maunganui.

Fitted with a PALFINGER PK53002-SH crane and a SAF-Holland sliding 5th wheel supplied by the team at Transpecs. The removable deck means it can switch from truck to tractor unit in no time, making it one of the more versatile rigs on the road.

Big congratulations to everyone involved in putting this beauty together. That’s what we call Kiwi engineering done right. 💪
