We're pleased to welcome Mark "Bull" Allen to the KE KELIT New Zealand team as our National Plumbing Business Manager.

Bull brings extensive experience, strong industry relationships, and a genuine passion for supporting New Zealand's plumbing industry. Many will also know him as a former All Black and Hurricanes Captain, where leadership, teamwork and high performance were second nature.

As National Plumbing Business Manager, Bull will lead our national plumbing business, working alongside our Regional Sales Managers to support plumbing merchants, installers and key customers across New Zealand.

Over the next four weeks, Bull will be travelling the country meeting customers and industry partners. If you'd like to catch up, discuss an upcoming project, arrange product training, or simply introduce yourself, please get in touch.

We had a great afternoon on-site on Wednesday, delivering STEELFIX training for one of Auckland’s major stainless steel projects.

Our newest Sales Rep, Andy, joined the install team as we worked through sizes 15–76mm across corridor and room applications, supporting the team with practical product and installation training.

Always good to see collaboration on site and the confidence that comes from hands-on learning with stainless steel systems built for long-term performance.

New lead-free plumbing standards take effect tomorrow. Have you prepared?

From now on, all products in contact with drinking water must meet strict requirements:
≤0.25% lead content (weighted average), and dezincification-resistant (DZR) materials for pressurised components

These changes are designed to improve water quality, protect public health, and ensure longer-lasting plumbing systems across the country.
